Beautiful. These are such lovely watercolours, I'm glad I found your blog, thanks. It really makes me want to paint some birdies. I am tempted by the Magpies I keep seeing in profusion lately, a cunning and clever bird, with fantastic coloured feathers, and the 'charms' of Goldfinches I keep seeing.I must have a go! Thanks for the inspiration. One question, How big do you work? If you get chance to answer. :)
Hi Julie - Thanks for checking in! I tend to work quite small. Generally anywhere from 6 x 8 inches to 11 x 14 inches. This painting of the quails is 11 x 14.
Thank-you Diana for your reply. I will hopefully do something and maybe get back to show you if I dare?? In the meantime I shall continue to follow your lovely work! Cheers.
So nice! I just absolutely love your watercolors.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! When can we go to California and see them?
ReplyDeleteOh man - You have no idea how lovely a trip to CA with you sounds right now!
