Happy 2010



Hello and Happy New Year to you! I have returned from my several days of lovely winter hikes, and ringing in the new year with friends at a cozy cottage in southwestern Wisconsin. I have my theme bird for 2010, and am working on the watercolor for the giveaway. I will announce the winner this Wednesday, January 6th. I can't wait!

    I know. It's hard to be sitting here in my studio, looking at those photos, and believe that I was in a place like that only a few days ago.

    Great photos! My dad was from Wisconsin (Rice Lake) so I have a special place in my heart for the state.

    Those horses are all tacked up - were they about to pull a sleigh?

    I love Wisconsin too, especially this area. The horses were on an Amish farm, and were tacked up to pull a cart out to the corn fields.
